And now on to the matching hat

I've finished both of my Backflip mitts, and let me tell you, they're absolutely gorgeous! All that's left now is a bath and then blocking, and then maybe a little bit of sewing around the edge of the top of the ribbing so it stays folded down. Unfortunately, I couldn't get any pictures of me modeling both of the gloves at once because, as it turns out, it's extremely difficult to take photos of both your hands at once, by yourself. I thought I might make it work by holding the phone with my chin and putting on the self timer, but that didn't really work that well, surprisingly. I suppose you all will have to wait for fabulous hand modeling pictures until after my assistant returns home from class!

I've also started on the matching hat, and I'm hoping that it moves along just as fast as mitts did.
