We've got heels!

I've been knitting along on my toe up socks, and they (finally) both have heels! I decided to do the fish lips kiss heel, just so there wouldn't be any chance that they wouldn't fit the intended recipient.

If they end up not fitting for any sort of reason then I am giving up on them entirely, and Brandon will no longer have any sort of sock privileges. Perhaps that's harsh, but that's just how it has to be.
Once I finish these socks, I'll need to finish at least two more of my current works in progress before I can start on something new. Right now, I'm eyeing the Picking Daisies shawl by Melanie Berg. I have the yarn for it already, and I've been itching to cake it up and cast on, but I'm practicing a tiny bit of restraint, since I have several (read: at least four) works in projects languishing right now. If anyone needs a midweek pick-me-up, I'll leave you with a photo of Tot sitting on Brandon's socks before they were sent to the frog pond. He's looks rather grouchy, which is his standard.
