The wrap that wouldn't end

I'm still knitting away on the Everwood! I absolutely love the lace pattern, and I can't wait until it's finished and ready to be blocked. Speaking of being finished...it feels like the wrap itself is never-ending! I'm not sure what it is about scarves/wraps, but there's always a point when it seems like you're knitting and knitting and knitting but the item doesn't actually grow. It just seems to stay the exact same length, no matter how many hours you put into it. I'm on repeat number eleven right now, and I still have four (maybe five if I decide I want to play yarn chicken) to go. Then I can finally bind off and block!

I also decided to send the socks that were supposed to be Brandon's Christmas present to the frog pond. I determined that they were way too big, and it would just be better to redo them the right way, instead of having them slip off of his feet while he was wearing them.

After the visit to the frog pond:

Two at a time, toe-up socks! They're so exciting, and I'm so proud of myself for trying something new. They're coming along nicely, and I'm happy that instead of one finished sock, I will have two when I'm finally finished! I'm determined to become a sock knitter, and have a drawer full of warm cozy socks! If you have a favorite, hard-wearing sock yarn, let me know in the comments below...until next time!
