Finals week is finally finished (did you like that alliteration?), and I can finally get back to knitting. I've also decided that, while this semester has been fun, I'm not going back next semester. I've decided that I really want to focus on knitting, designing, and writing. I've submitted my first application for an MFA program, and have several more in the works. I'm crossing all my fingers and toes that I'll be accepted, and be able to continue my education in something that I love!
In between studying, I've finished a hat, and have worked on my duplicate stitch madness scarf a bit more. I now have three colors (almost) to the halfway point, and it's really beginning to come together!

While doing these other projects, I've conveniently been 'unable' to get to the Christmas knitting project that I have. It's a pair of socks, and one sock is already done, but it's too big so i'm going to have to rip back to the heel and redo. I've already bought the fish lips kiss heel and traced the recipients foot, so now the socks might, by some miracle, fit when I'm finally finished with them. It's still to be determined if he'll actually get a pair of socks for Christmas...he might just get a single, fitting sock and an IOU. He already knows that this is very much in the realm of possibilities, so at least he won't be surprised!
I suppose I'd better go and work on something until I have to go to work tonight, so until next time!
