And with a flick of my wand, I present: charts!

Readers, I have finally learned to chart, and I'm here to tell you that it's actually really easy, especially if you know how to tinker around in Microsoft Excel. I'm not really sure why I decided to get up at 7:00 am on one of my days off, boot up Excel and then get to work filling tiny white squares with red and gold for the rest of the day, but I did! It did take a bit of patience, especially when I couldn't get the head right after trying for forty-five minutes. You might be asking why I spent forty-five minutes on something as silly as the perfect head, and I have to tell you, it's really difficult to get heads right, especially when they're on the bodies of Lions, which is why my final chart looks the way it does (turns out it's much easier to cheat and do a griffin head on a lion's body rather than a lion's head on a lion's body). For your amusement, I've also included an in- progress picture below!

Isn't she (maybe he?) a beaut? My favorite part is the wonky dancing arm. This is actually the middling stages of the Gryffindor crest that is set to go on the last part of my Harry Potter Prisoner of Azkaban scarf. I didn't leave it like this, of course. Though, now that I think of it, he might have been more fun with the dancing arm. I'm still not exactly sure why I woke up that morning and decided to spend the rest of my day charting this guy, but I did, and it's inspired me to start doing other charts, and maybe even venture into writing my own patterns! I'll put my finished chart down below in some sort of downloadable format so that you can use it if you ever have need for something Harry Potter themed! It's going on the very end of my HP scarf, and I haven't quite made it that far yet, so if you find any issues with it, please let me know so I can fix them for you! If for some reason you can't download it, and want to, please just shoot me a comment/ email and I can just email you the pdf. Thanks for reading!
